What We Ate Wednesday

Hey everyone!

We’ve made it to Wednesday, and that means another round of WWAW.  Thanks as always to Peas and Crayons for hosting!

Before we launch into our our eats, check out what Haley did yesterday after work…Mariner’s Game!

Check out these seats!  Haley’s note: I have never had the chance to sit where I see the whole field at once, so it was really neat to see the whole game in action!  Plus, it was like 80 degrees the whole night 🙂

Now, on to our eats!

When it comes to lunches, we love having simple, fresh meals!  Lately, we have really been craving summer salads and our “lunch bowls” normally have some sort of green (spinach, kale, lettuce), along with veggies and some sort of light dressing like balsamic.  This salad (above) had some couscous pasta, with tomatoes, black beans and corn–yummy!  Carrots and hummus also joined the lunch party 🙂

Snacktime!  This is one of our favorite snacks lately–sesame sticks and rice crackers (both from TJ’s) atop some PB 2.  Wierd combo, we know, but so delish!

This week, we have really been focusing on clean eating, and it is helping our focus and energy levels!  What did you eat today?
