Do you want to know the perfect way to recover after a long, hard run? Chocolate milk.

And not just any chocolate milk–peanut butter chocolate milk! Let me back up a bit first. A fellow runner friend of mine was drinking this lovely concoction and raved about how it was like drinking liquid peanut butter cups. I was immediately sold! I love the chocolate / pb combo and it sounded delicious. After my race, I had the chance to go pick some up for myself and man, is it good! With 20 grams of protein it’s the perfect way to recover. However, there are a ton of calories, so be careful with the serving size 🙂
